It is important to get a good night's
rest prior to the procedure.
You will most likely have been admitted
to hospital the day before surgery, and will spend
this night in your hospital bed. A family member
or friend is welcome to stay with you overnight.
If you are an outpatient,
you will be instructed to present yourself to
Dr. Chartchai's nurse at the appointed time on
the day of surgery.
You will be instructed not to eat
or drink within 6 hours of surgery. You will receive
an antiseptic washing solution to thoroughly wash
the area of your body where the surgery will be.
Don't use perfume, deodorant, hairspray, face
lotions, creams or makeup.
Dr. Chartchai and your anesthesiologist
will visit with you before your surgery.
